June 7, 2009:
The Cooper Motorsports SK Light Modified #25 and driver Lauren Cooper participated in a charity event for Autism Speaks at Walnut Park in New Britain Ct. on Sunday June 7th. The Stafford Motor Speedway provided the pace car and fellow driver Dave Wray from the Late Model division also provided his car as well for display.
It was a day that saw around 5000 people participate in a walk around the park for a great cause. All three cars were on display for all to see and climb in for a better look to see what the drivers see. The Cooper Motorsports #25 was a hit as many of the kids that climbed into the car had their photo taken and later put the Lauren Cooper Racing web site. Lauren autographed many hero cards and T-shirts for the kids.
There was food, rides, and entertainment provided for everybody. It was a fun filled day for all that attended and Lauren was proud to be part of it. Please check out the pictures in the photo section.
