Ultimate Auto Center returns as a sponsor….. 02/21/2010

Lauren Cooper Racing is proud to announce the return sponsorship of Ultimate Auto Center of Danbury Ct. This will mark the  tenth consecutive season that Ultimate has been a supporter of Lauren and her career in racing from karting on dirt ovals up through the ranks of Stock Cars to Modifieds at the Stafford Motor Speedway. Lew Lombardo (owner of Ultimate Auto Center) a former racer himself knows how much work and dedication it takes to run a race car and is always willing to lend a hand or offer services. Its no surprise Lew is always willing to offer services with 6 big bays at his shop to do  anything from Foreign to domestic and even fleet services. Lew’s shop can handle anything from mechanical repairs to scheduled maintanance to collision or restoration body work. If it’s a sleek body kit you desire, a custom paint job, or to restore your early model vehicle into a custom made muscle car, this is the place to come to. Ultimate Auto Center has won many awards for there custom body work as seen on there own website at  www.ultimaterestorationllc.com It’s your one stop shop for anything your vehicle may need –  located at 79 Triangle Street, Danbury, Ct. Lauren unable to make it to the Auto Show due to the stomach flu… 02/08/2010

Lauren was unable to make the Frank Maratta’s Auto Show this Saturday due the flu. She deeply regrets missing this opportunity to meet her fans and her chance to compete in the pit crew challenge. It was an honor for Laurens mom to step in for her and compete in the pit crew challenge. Check out the pics in Lauren’s Gallery. The team named “Five Woman Wrenching” competed at a best time of 43:53 seconds. The five team members included: Heather DesRochers (Driver S.K.Lights) , Erica Santos (Driver S.K.Lights), (Renee Dupuis (Modified Tour), Renea Topp (Marketing Manager Lime Rock Park), and of course Deb Cooper (Lauren’s Mom)

Thanks to Mark Hann of Victory Motorsports for putting the pit crew challenge together. It was a blast to watch and I’m sure the wining team of Woody Pitkat will enjoy the $500.00 that they won. Congrats to them! Hope to see you there next year.
