Cooper Motorsports is proud to announce the return sponsorship of Newtown Car Care. This will be the third season with the Newtown Car Care logos on board a Cooper Motorsports fielded stock car at Stafford Motor Speedway. Newtown Car Care was established in 1964, it is a general repair facility for foreign, domestic and fleet vehicle service and repairs. Cooper Motorsports is proud to announce the formation of an alliance with the Arbitell Race teams and Peoples Choice Mobil, http://arbitellracing.com/driversandbios.html. Rocky Arbitell is well known in the Southbury area, as well as in the racing community. Rocky’s Peoples Choice Mobil, located off exit 16 on I-84 in Southbury,is open 24/7. It is a popular spot to stop for gas and refreshments. Rocky takes pride in knowing that his Peoples Choice Mobil is always clean, well light at night and the shelves are stocked up with the best snacks and soft drinks. Congrats to Mike Chaves…with a new motor, new shocks, new brakes and bump steer being set..it really shows what a difference all that can make in the #00 LLM. With all that and Mikes outstanding driving he was able to bring the car home in 5th (could have been 1st!!) and finished 9th in points for the overall season!!! GREAT JOB MIKE!!!!!! Thanks to all our sponsors this year including : The Riverview Retaurant!!! Lauren will see you in SK Lights next year!!!!

A great night of racing……..With only one practice and the feature (no heat races) Mike brought the car home in 8th place!!!! He started 3rd and made it up to second. All the adjustments he has been making are really starting to show. It was a cold night…lets hope for warm weather this coming weekend!!!!!
