We would also like to let everyone know, even though Lauren is not driving the car she is still working hard to promote our sponsors and market herself for next year. Lauren has autograph sessions lined up for the remainder of the season and will continue to do WATR1320 radio as the opportunity arises. We are currently looking for a SK Modified and have a couple we are checking into now. We are also currently working hard to line up sponsorship for next year.

We regretfully announce that we will not be racing the LLM for the rest of the racing season. We have decided to move up to the SK Lite Modified Division at Stafford. We’d like to Thank all of our sponsors and friends for all of their support. We will keep you posted as to how things are moving along.

Well…we are still holding onto some bad luck. During the first practice the rear end blew up. We knew it was questionable when we had to put it together at the track with used parts back in July but we were hoping it would hold together until the end of the year. We will be out a couple of weeks..should be back by September 5th.

We did not race this week due to an engine change. (See pics of motor in the Photo Section!!!)Everything is moving along and we hope to be racing again on Aug 1st!! Check back for updates!!!

We will not be racing this upcoming weekend: July 25th, we need to get the new motor in the car. Also…CHECK OUT THE UPDATED PICTURES IN THE PHOTOS SECTION!!!! This week we ran the first practice and the car was a little tight. We made some adjustments for the second practice but unfortunaly 1/2 of a lap into it the motor blew. We will know more once we strip it down. There was also an autograph session at the track and I want to Thank everyone for stopping by, it was a lot of fun!!!!

Finally..nice weather!! We had a decent night. The final result was an 11th place finish out of 21 cars. The car felt great in the practice runs ( we didn’t have any heat race) but really tightened up for the feature. Then is was a matter of dodging all the wrecks and trying to stay toward the front. We have some repairs to do on the nose but all in all it was a good night!

Lauren ran her fastest time yet….23.9 in the heat race!!!!! Looked like it might be a good night of racing until……seems someone felt they should go to the front in the first 1/2 lap of the feature by driving thru Lauren!!! He damaged her rear quarter panel and knocked the bleeder line into the clutch housing so it ripped it off!! Done before we got started!! (He did apologize at the end of the race) Can’t wait for next week!

After 2 practice sessions Lauren determined that the car had a bad push entering the turns….because we had no heat race we made a adjustment for the feature and it was terrible. All in all we ended up with a 13th out of 20….only due to Laurens ability to adjust her driving for the car!!

Had a great night…..Had 2 practice runs…..the heat races got rained out so we just went directly into the features. I really got very comfortable in the car and it was running great! I finished 6th out of 20 cars!!! My best finish yet!!! Thanks Dad for all of your hard work and great advice!!!!
