The race is always different when you’re actually driving the car. Every driver has a different perspective because everyone is in a different situation. I like to think positively about getting back out there because I really hope I do soon, if I think negatively it probably won’t happen. But, yes I do go to Stafford every Friday to watch even when I’m not racing. I’ve actually learned a lot just by watching these past few weeks. Next time I go out there I think i’ll have an even BETTER idea of things now that I’ve studied a lot of the drivers.

I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to answer me. You have a great attitude. I hope you get sponsership real soon. I would love to hear your perspective on what happens during a race. In the stands we don’t always see or understand what goes on.
Both Heather and Erica are doing great. Even Victoria is starting to mix it up. I want to see them in victory lane soon.
Do you come to Stafford to watch even if you don’t have a ride?

Jim – I hope to get back out there as soon as possible! I have been missing racing for a long time now and it’s starting to get depressing. We need sponsorship to get out there so if you have any ideas let me know! Thank you for the support.

Joe – I wouldn’t call this ‘punishment’ because I definitely don’t deserve any kind of penalization for wrecking. It happens to the best of us and we can only learn from our mistakes. Every mistake is an experience that I can build off of and work to not do again. I love racing and being with the rest of the lady drivers out there as well. It’s what I believe I’m meant to be doing, but the finances aren’t exactly there at the moment. I hope to be back really soon, I can’t stand not racing. If you know of anybody looking to sponsor an SK Lite that wants to kick some BUTT let me know.

Where are you? Are you being punished for wrecking the 70 at Stafford? When are you going to be back racing at Stafford in the 25? I certainly miss you and enjoy watching you race. I love all the girls racing. You should all help each other and gang up on the boys. Don’t let them push you around. You girls bring a new and refreshing excitement to the racing at Stafford. Lauren, I wanted to thank you for taking time to come to the Walk for Autism yesterday with your race car and a photographer. I know my kids were so excited to sit in the race car and then to have a picture of it too? It was so thrilling for them. I would like to send out a special thanks to our sponsors and all our fans. It just amazes me how many people that know who we are the pits and are always offering a helping hand and some much needed advise. Lauren is by far a better driver than I can give her a car that handles to her liking right now. I am trying my best to learn as much as I can to get the car better each week, but it is all trial and error. Sometimes you go backwards to go forwards. We will hopefully have the car back together for this weekend with a new motor, rebuilt transmission, and rebuilt rear differential. Now with all that hopefully we will get that monkey off our back! Although with the new motor (a track approved spec. motor) we are allowed a weight break and now Lauren will have to shift gears on the starts. So now we have to work on a new set-up and lauren shifting gears under pressure. So once again we will have her start in the rear of the field until we get things sorted out to some degree again. In ending I would like to throw out a SPECIAL THANKS to Dave Capriati for all the help with the crate motor, the crew of Darin Havenec for the advise, Mike Chaves for being such a good friend, Tom and Ky for always being there to lend a helping hand, and last but not least Ken Williams, without you none of this would be possible. You are my right hand man. Thank you all for being patient with us, trust me we are working our tails off.
